Description:

COMPANY INTRODUCTION

Vibration Field Services provide service support to customers within the Aerospace, Automotive and Defence industries as well as other sectors with electrodynamic vibration systems for environmentally testing their products.
Our services include maintenance, installation and repair of vibration systems. We service different manufacture’s of this type of equipment and training will be provided. This equipment is electromechanical and requires a skill set involving mechanical engineering and electrical engineering.
Due to continuing growth, we require additional field service engineers to join our team.

DESIRABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • HNC in Mechanical and or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience/qualifications will be required.
  • Good attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics and electrical diagrams
  • Experience of industrial plant maintenance would be an advantage
  • Physical fitness and stamina to be able to perform the manual labour required for the installation and maintenance of this equipment
  • Good maths skills for measurements and calculations
  • Experience with hand tools and power tools is essential for performing various tasks
  • Willing to learn and develop new skills

Responsibilities:

  • You will travel to customer sites to service, repair and install vibration systems throughout the UK (mainly central belt Scotland) and Europe in accordance with the recommended procedures
  • Repair and maintenance of heavy industrial and technical equipment
  • Install new electrodynamic vibration systems at customer locations in UK and Europe
  • Carry out remote customer support via email and telephone to troubleshoot customer faults with equipment
  • Training will be provided
  • All travel, accommodation and subsistence will be paid for subject to the company travel policy
