The Field Service Engineer for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for supporting our fielded install base across ANZ.
This position is part of the Service Department located in Melbourne, Australia and will be hybrid. Our Service Mission here at Beckman Coulter is to provide the Best Customer Service as it relates to Service Effectiveness, Efficiency and Engagement which complements our vision to double the number of patients we reach in the next 5 years.
You will be a part of the ANZ Service Team and report to the Southern Regional Service Manager responsible for attending customer sites as and when required to complete Preventative Maintenance (PMOTD), Product Safety and Quality Modifications, Repair Visits, Phone Support to customers, Installation and decommissioning of our products into and out of customer sites. You will ensure that our service delivery meets the highest standards across areas such as communication, execution and follow-up. THE ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB INCLUDE:

  • Tertiary qualifications (In Biomedical or Electrical Engineering)
  • Equivalent to 3 years of industry experience either in Pathology IVD, biomedical devices or a related healthcare industry
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Highly organised and able to work independently
  • Unrestricted working rights in ANZ; valid and current Driver’s Licence

Responsibilities:

  • Be part of a Service Team that will travel to and consistently provide the highest level of customer service and support
  • Work as part of a diverse team and be willing to contribute to the wider team and organisational goals on a continual basis
  • Work closely with the Regional Service Managers to ensure effective first-time fix rates, work to ensure the most cost-effective way to carry out repairs, ensure the company always achieves its customer satisfaction objectives and ensure all spare parts are properly recorded, kept and used.
  • Attend training as required in the role.
