Responsibilities:

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE IN THIS ROLE:

  • Disciplinary and functional team leadership of ~30 associates onsite
  • You participate actively in client status calls and keep track of commitments, ensure our performance (continuous process improvements) against committed activities
  • You are responsible for account cost management as related to the Field Service operations (includes Logistics) and delivery
  • Primary account contact within the Unisys organization when pertaining to Field Engineer Services EMEA and towards the client
  • Serve as the Field Service expert to the Program Management Office and support our Client Account Executives and Service Delivery Executive/Manager in order to ensure customer satisfaction and our SLA´s
  • Ensure new services are supported consistently across Field Services, working closely with program manager of new projects, thus ensuring effective change management resulting in readiness for execution
  • Collaborate across Service Towers in handling and responding to client issues, account problem analysis and making requested service improvements
  • Ensure that Field Services are delivered in compliance with the contract.
  • Ensures team leaders take responsibility for self-development and carries out performance reviews and the resulting employee appraisals
  • Builds and maintains high team leader morale, positively cascades Corporate and Departmental communications as well as create a positive workplace for the whole team

YOU WILL BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE:

  • Several years of professional and management experience in a similar position in the field service or IT sector
  • Minimum three years experience managing medium complexity projects or Bachelors Degree and equivalent experience.
  • Success in working in an EMEA environment, preferably for a public client
  • Demonstrated success in the delivery of projects and experience in the use of process design and re-engineering techniques as well as project management methodology, including familiarity with ITIL concepts and best practices
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a cross-functional, multi-location team
  • Business and Financial Acumen
  • Good knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office products, ITIL and PMP Certification are a plus.
  • Successfully completed commercial training or comparable practically acquired knowledge
  • Clear analytical thinking, pragmatism, enthusiasm for processes and a hands-on mentality with a focus on the essentials even in confusing situations
  • Experience in motivating, guiding and coaching team members
  • Independent, structured, careful way of working, reliability paired with the ability to work in a team
  • Good verbal/written communication skills, very good command of the English language
