Responsibilities:

THE ROLE…

The main purpose of the Field Service Project Manager is as follows;

  • Allocates and organises the site service activities for the site services division in co-ordination with the relevant site supervisors, site managers and the site services team leader.
  • Creates the technical proposals, performs detailed planning and project management of the site service activities.
  • The FSPM is the link between the site and the head office/ engineering department during trouble shooting/ delays and for personnel allocation to specific tasks/ projects.

WHAT WILL YOU DO…

  • Allocate FS resources to projects and prepare the resources for the job/ task.
  • Ensure that all activities are carried out safely and that all EHS & quality documentation is in place. Carry out site safety inspections (Visible Felt Leadership) to ensure compliance.
  • Maintain the FS resource planning document.
  • Maintain contact with sales teams and clients to ensure relevant enquiries are received.
  • Estimate work in accordance with enquiry documents and in line with relevant technical & statutory codes of practice.
  • Attend pre and post tender meetings with the client to negotiate and clarify tender submissions.
  • Project Management of Site Service projects including project planning, turnkey projects, planning of contact work & effectively manage and control site personnel
  • Be aware of costs expended against budget, ensure payment applications are submitted regularly and close out completed contracts financially & technically including final reports in co-ordination with the FS Administrator.
  • Carry out installation surveys, technical audits, assist with troubleshooting and commissioning activities co-ordination.
  • Close out completed contracts financially and technically in co-ordination with the FS Administrator, including the submission of technical reports and recommendations.
  • Create training programmes for service personnel to ensure all essential training is up to date.
  • Administer the LTSA and Framework agreements.
