Responsibilities:

In this role you will lead a team of talented engineers on all service-related matters within Continuous Monitoring System which includes recruitment, development, and supervision of calibration/installation engineers to achieve superior results in customer satisfaction. Our knowledgeable service team serves customers by installing, calibrating, trouble shooting, and training on Vaisala’s CMS products and software. You will report to Head of Field Service EMEA.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Lead a team of talented engineers and driving continuous improvement through best practices.
  • Provide troubleshooting, repair support, advanced diagnostics, and perform system installations, expansions, upgrades, and validation (IQ/OQ).
  • Develop positive relationships with customers and the service team, embodying Vaisala’s core values.
  • Review calibration certificates, SQLite files, and provide feedback to Product Management.
  • Support Project Managers with service quotes, proposals, and ensure timely, on-budget project completion.
  • Train new service personnel.
  • Travel up to 50% for customer support.
