Sunbelt Rentals-the fastest-growing rental business in North America-is seeking a Field Service Technician (Lube Technician) to join the team.
The Lube Technician’s responsibilities include preparing detailed service records, changing engine oil as well as hydraulic oil, coolant and grease. You should also be able to keep the equipment, work area and truck clean while performing maintenance and servicing tasks.
To be successful as a lube technician, you should have strong mechanical skills and adhere to all safety procedures and practices. Ultimately, an outstanding lube technician should be able to communicate effectively with customers your supervisor and demonstrate excellent time management skills.

Position Responsibilities
- Applying lubricants to moving parts of equipment to prevent premature wear and ensure optimal performance
- Lubricating grease points throughout equipment
- Replacing cabin, fuel, air and oil filters as required
- Testing tire pressure and adding air as needed
- Thoroughly inspecting equipment for leaks and visible damage
- Making recommendations for additional serving if applicable
- Notifying supervisor of any additional repairs/servicing as required
REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience in mechanical maintenance and repair.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Detail-oriented.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job.
