Description:
REQUIRED SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- You will have previous experience of tactical engagement simulations (TESS) and electronics.
- Experience of ATMP database (AWARE) or similar information management system such as ERP or MRP.
- Home Instrument training system (HITS) experience
- You’ll have previously set up standard test apparatus or devices test equipment to conduct functional, operational, environmental and life tests.
- Ability to recommend changes in circuitry or installation specifications to simplify assembly and maintenance
You will need a Full driving licence.

We have a number of opportunities for Field Service Representatives to join the ever-growing Lockheed Martin team. You will act as a maintenance technician located at the 7th Army Training Command in Grafenwöhr, Germany.
Providing technical support to assist with customer support in daily training device component repairs for the ATMP (Army Training Aids, Devices, Simulators and Simulations (TADSS) Maintenance Program) contract and primarily specific repairs towards the Homestation Instrumentation Training System (HITS).
You will be involved in Primarily Troubleshooting, repairing, and testing the DIS-E and its components and sub-components.
What you will be doing;
- Traveling to multiple sites within Germany
- Primary responsibility for the HITS systems repair and shipping
- Repair components and sub-components to blueprint, manuals and customer specifications using hand tools, power tools and grinders.
- Installs parts or repair parts using screws and hand tools.
- Proofs repaired components and sub-components for functionality.
- PMCS responsibility.
- A situational event (such as an exercise, heavy utilization, fill in during another employee absence) may require the employee to install and operations the HITS at other European installations, primarily the Hohenfels Training Area.
- You will be able to use ATMP Management Information System (MIS) to record all maintenance and inventory actions.
