Description:

Field Service Technician - Medical Equipment and Accessibility
We are seeking a Field Service Technician to join our team and provide technical support and maintenance services for medical equipment and accessibility products in various healthcare facilities and private homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical equipment and accessibility technology, as well as experience in troubleshooting and repairing complex equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain medical equipment and accessibility products at customer sites
  • Perform routine maintenance and calibration checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues to determine root causes and implement effective solutions
  • Provide training and support to end users on proper equipment operation and maintenance procedures
  • Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and equipment inventory
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide feedback on equipment performance and suggest improvements for future products

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in biomedical equipment technology preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in servicing medical equipment and accessibility products
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electronic, and hydraulic systems
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

This role requires frequent travel to customer sites, so a willingness to work flexible hours and travel extensively is necessary.
