OUR OPENING AND YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Mettler Toledo is seeking to hire a Field Service Technician who will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing industry related products, perform calibrations and preventative maintenance duties, in the city of Vancouver and surrounding areas. As a Field Service Technician, you will also resolve first line customer service issues and accurately complete documentation and service reports.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Troubleshoot, install and repair all Mettler Toledo Products within Business Area
• Responsible for meeting daily service repair needs and driving customer satisfaction
• Complete installs, repairs, calibrations, customer training, performance verifications and preventative maintenance on equipment in the field to satisfy customer and enhance service profitability
• Participate in Service sales opportunities and assists with promoting service products
• Ensure tools and test equipment are properly maintained and calibrated
• Establish and maintain a close working relationship with Regional Service Leader, Senior FSTs and Support Specialists in order to support the needs of customers and to develop technical product knowledge
• Provide technical solutions consultant and application support to the customer and sales team, to include technical review of sales orders;
• Interface with Mettler Toledo sales employees to meet customer requirements, including performing joint sales calls
• Responsible for or assist with project management activities
• Assist in effort to modernize, upgrade and convert customer existing equipment
• Insure vehicle service and maintenance requirements are met
