Copeland is hiring a Field Service Specialist to support our Retail Solutions products, services, and commissioning services of new installation, retrofit, and existing sites. The Field Services Specialist is required to establish, promote, and maintain excellent rapport and communications with all customers, co-workers, sales representatives, and others as appropriate.
This position is remote with up to 70% travel. The Field Services Specialist can reside anywhere in Canada, with a strong preference for individuals in Eastern Ontario, Quebec, The Maritimes, and British Columbia.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- Associate’s (AA) degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school (or equivalent working experience)
- 2+ years of experience with HVAC controls or building automation systems field including commissioning and start up.
- Strong computer skills required
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills to represent the company to customers and other outside contacts in an ethical and professional manner.
- Ability to explain technical information to technical and non-technical people.
- Authorized to work in Canada and travel to the United States without sponsorship now or in the future. Some overnight travel may be required.
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- 2-year degree in electronics, mechanical systems
- Two years’ experience in installing electronic and/or mechanical systems.
- 313A Certification
- Bilingual (English/French)
