Field Services Tender Engineer

• Evaluate Tender Specification and Develop Customer request into a Schneider Electric’s offer by proposing solutions that comply with the Customer requirements in the most cost-effective manner.
• Provide professional and tendering expertise in Field Services/Maintenance contracts/Brownfield solutions for Electrical Distribution business
• Able to manage multiple tendering projects at any one time and to develop ‘win’ for the RFPs/deals
• Provide timely and accurate quotations as requested by Sales.
• Single point of contact and accountability throughout the quotation during the RFQ.
• Support Sales team by participating in clarification (if required)
• Liaise, communicate and coordinate with all internal stakeholders such as Product Manager, Sales, Finance, Operation, Engineering, Purchasing etc to obtain the optimize offer solution
• Lead and responsible for the bid approval review with stakeholder and business owner
• Establish risk and opportunity register for complex job, and provide the mitigation action from the risk assessment
• Establish cash flow projection for long duration project and able to promote healthy cash flow to the stakeholders

QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Preferably with 5 years of Tendering experience
• Knowledge of LV/MV/Transformers/Switchgears/Automation/Building related products, in electrical distribution
• Prior experience in Tendering, Field Services and/or project management is preferred
• Must be able to understand basic electrical network, SLD, system architecture, BOM and prepare proposal for submission.
• Able to work Independently in a challenging and demanding environment
• Able to work cross collaboration and stakeholders’ management
• Knowledge and understand Singapore local requirements and application is preferred
