The Field Technical Specialist role is an excellent opportunity based in Victoria to join our Neuromodulation team.
We are seeking an experienced professional who will provide technical expertise at implant/follow up, troubleshooting and supporting clinicians and Territory Managers.
Minimum Education
- Tertiary qualifications in a related field is desirable but not essential
Minimum Experience and Skills
- Experience in the clinical support of medical devices is highly regarded but not essential
- An ability to demonstrate a high degree of technical capability
- Is able to develop and maintain a network of contacts; acts in a way that indicates understanding and accurate interpretation of others concerns and feelings
Responsibilities:
- Liaise with Education to ensure personal levels of technical competence are at the highest Neuromodulation standard.
- Initiate a method of ongoing communication to all Territory Managers and other employees ensuring expertise is shared by all.
- Shared account management and ownership, in consultation with the Territory Manager.
- Liaising with Territory Management re Neuromodulation promotion, product, therapies, service and support.
- Provide procedure support through patient education, post-operative patient support and ongoing programming.
- Maintain technical competency through training and education including knowledge of therapies and procedures.
- Complete monthly reports as required
- Document all implant/programming attendance.
- Provide market feedback on product and competitor activity.
- Attend to/comply with customer service and other administrative requirements within the required timeframe.
- Knowledge of and commitment to the requirements of the Quality Management System.
