Description:
SUMMARY
The Field Technician I is accountable for collecting client samples from oil and gas wells and facilities within their assigned region.
EDUCATION
College graduate or related industry experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Collect samples from oil/gas wells and facilities following Core Lab standard operating procedures.
- Respond to client concerns and requests.
- Train to become proficient in specialized sampling.
- Maintain field vehicle in good working order such as routine servicing, cleaning and maintenance.
- Carry out field analysis and sampling as per “Field Services Standard Operating Procedures and Forms.”
- Conversant with analytical services provided by Core Laboratories and those required by the client.
- Comply with all health, safety and quality management system requirements of Core Lab and those of the Clients.
- Maintain communication with the Calgary and Edmonton laboratories. Inform supervisor of incidents with field equipment, trucks and sampling.
- Able to commit to overtime.
