Description:

The EIB, the European Union’s bank, is seeking to recruit for its EIB Global Directorate – Partnerships for Impact Department – Co-financing & Partnerships Division, at its headquarters in Luxembourg: TRAINEES
Duration: 6 months (fixed start date: 1st September/October 2025)
ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS AND PROFESSIONAL SKILLS
- Final year of studies or University degree of a MENA/ACP partner country in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Law, Political Science or in a related subject.
- A first experience in the financial sector will be considered as an advantage.
- Good to advanced knowledge of MS Office software, in particular Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
- Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English. Knowledge of French will be an asset but is not a must.
Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Head of Division, Heads of Unit and more senior colleagues, You will actively participate in the Division’s core activities. Your main responsibilities will be to:
- Contribute to monitoring, following-up and reporting on operations supported under EU Regional Blending Facilities and EIB managed Trust Funds using the specific applications of the EIB;
- Contribute to the drafting of proposals and briefing notes; help with document filing, data collection and research work;
- Contribute to the development of new blending proposals in line with EIB Global’s strategy and business needs;
- Contribute to the organisation of meetings with bilateral Donors and other mandators, visibility and communication activities undertaken in the context of promotion of EIB Global’s partnerships.
