Your File Clerk responsibilities:
- Manage and action requests database for the retrieval of microfilmed/paper files
- Sort and prepare paper documents for scanning into our electronic claims database, locate claim files, update tracking systems and distribute files using various computer programs including MS Excel, Word, SharePoint, Lotus Notes, and RecFind.
- Assist in the storage of electronic media.
Your experience and skills:
- A high school diploma and experience related to data verification and processing (data entry).
- Previous experience in customer service and in an office setting.
- Records management courses are considered an asset.
- Computer skills including MS Excel, Word and Adobe are essential with accurate alphanumeric keyboarding.
- Experience converting microfilm/historical documents into digitized or electronic form is an asset.
- Reliability, time management, willingness to take initiative, customer service and teamwork are integral to success in this position.

Salary: The salary for this position is $44,312.86 per annum.
This position is temporary for a period of up to one year with the possibility of extension or permanency. Final candidates for this position are required to undergo a security clearance as a condition of employment. Successful candidate must reside in Alberta and be able to work in person in our Edmonton downtown office as required by their position.
