The Business Development Representative is a critical role to the regional team’s success. As a Business Development Representative, you will receive ongoing sales coaching and instruction while working in a hands-on environment that will continue to hone your skills, and the goal is to ultimately move into a quota-bearing business development role at Nasdaq. The Business Development Representative Will Be Responsible For:

  • Supporting the Senior Sales Team to strategically identify key growth opportunities
  • Monitoring the capital markets and developing a deep understanding of the private capital markets and Investor Relations
  • Becoming a subject matter expert on Nasdaq Fin-Tech’s technology and sharing knowledge with clients and prospective clients
  • Adding value to potential clients by leveraging Nasdaq’s thought leadership and proprietary insights
  • Contacting senior client and prospective client executives, arrange meetings and pursue interest for solution demos.
  • Proactively taking on new, impactful initiatives and exhibit a curiosity for learning
  • Managing a campaign list for the region. Maintain and ensure outbound activity to appropriate targets across the region.

You Will Need The Following Skills And Experience

  • Hard work, enthusiasm and a curiosity for learning
  • Good communication skills and teamwork
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
  • Creative mindset and ability to quickly pick up concepts and product information
  • Results-driven personality (base salary with performance-based commission)
  • Familiarity with

  • Understanding of finance or investment fields (a plus)
  • Knowledge of Capital Markets (a strong plus)
  • Prior business development or sales experience (a plus)

The base pay range for this role is $45,000 - $93,100. In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive), and equity (long-term incentive), comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for growth. Exact compensation may vary based on several job-related factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, experience, education/training, business needs and market demands.
