These in-country programs, together with global products and services, focus on delivering results through an integrated approach of evidence-based green growth planning and implementation aligned to countries’ development priorities.
POSITION SUMMARY
Based in Bogotá, D.C., Colombia, the Finance, Administration and Procurement Senior Assistant will support GGGI Andean Country Programs mainly on financial activities to respond to requirements, rules, and systems established by GGGI and the donors. S/he will also support the Operations Enabling Division (OED) Andean team in conducting administrative, procurement, and human resources tasks in compliance with policies, rules, guidelines, decisions, and processes. S/he will report to the Finance and Procurement Associate.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be a citizen of Colombia or have a valid work permit in Colombia.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, human resources, international relations, or other related field of study.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in project financial management, events planning, or administration roles.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel or similar.
- Good proficiency in other Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Advanced English proficiency is required.
- Ability to prepare financial reports in an organized and clear way.
- Ability to prepare written reports and business correspondence, both in Spanish and English.
- Experience/knowledge of green growth, climate change, and sustainable development is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out the budget execution monitoring and reporting of the Andean projects, understanding GGGI’s rules, procedures, systems, and tools.
- Support Resource Mobilization for the Andean Country programs by developing the budgets for new potential projects.
- Support the OED Andean team with administrative, travel, events, procurement and human resources tasks for the Andean countries and the organization for in-person logistics of events in Colombia.
