Description:

YOU WILL NEED TO DEMONSTRATE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE;

  • Understanding of handling employee expenses and financial management and accounting principles.
  • IT literate with experience and knowledge of finance systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines with great attention to detail.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Intermediate level Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and SUMIFS functions.
  • Experience using different financial and payroll systems.
  • Experience working in a Finance or Systems Administration role.

At MaPS, we take pride in our flexible approach to work. Most of our roles can operate on a hybrid basis with a minimum of 2 days in the office per week. Hybrid working is a voluntary, noncontractual arrangement and your office will be your contractual place of work. Responsibilities:

AS A FINANCE ADMINISTRATOR YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING;

  • Administer finance systems, including setting up new users, updating leavers, and modifying approval routes.
  • Set up new nominal codes and mark unused nominals to inactive after obtaining full approval.
  • Close old purchase orders and update directorates and departments within the systems.
  • Address errors/issues within the finance systems and handle employee expense queries.
  • Analyse expense reports and extract reports from various systems, ensuring data accuracy and addressing discrepancies.
  • Perform reconciliations between finance and non-finance systems where interfaces are not established.
  • Provide training support to finance and non-finance staff to effectively utilise finance systems and other technology tools.
  • Undertake additional tasks as required within the Finance Department.
