We are currently seeking a Finance Analyst who will report to the Finance Director. You will be responsible for wrangling data to assess business performance, providing analytical insights and support the Finance Business Partnering team. This role will initially be a fixed term contract of up to 12mths with the possibility of it becoming a permanent role and will be based in Brisbane.

RELEVANT EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS:

  • Degree qualified
  • Have a CPA/CA and or working towards this
  • Minimum of 3 years demonstrated business experience working in a similar role
  • Highly evolved ERP knowledge (BI knowledge would be very favourable)
  • Experience in working with complex data sets
  • Proactive and collaborative mindset
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to demonstrate initiative.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, including written and verbal.
  • Able to provide evidence of Right to Work in Australia.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides comprehensive variance analysis and insights in the form of commentary on the monthly financial results
  • Assisting Finance Business Partner’s (FBPs) in providing insights to business performance and drivers
  • Assisting FBP’s in monthly forecasting and budget activities
  • Supports the FBPs in any requests relating to project costings
  • Provides analytical data to FBPs
  • Supports FBPs in producing management accounts
  • Supports FBPs with financial modelling
