Finance Analyst

JOB PURPOSE

As a Finance Analyst at Burberry, you’ll be assisting our UK Internal Manufacturing finance team to support month end processes and commercial finance activities. Your role will play a key part in driving performance, pro-actively looking for value creation opportunities, enabling business decision-making and championing cost and margin focus.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Some of your responsibilities as the Finance Analyst will include:

• Month end processes, including:
• Journal preparation and execution
• Inventory Valuation
• Reconciliation and confirmation of specific balance sheet accounts
• Preparation and delivery of variance analysis, reviewing reporting and escalation
• Completion of half year and year end additional financial information
• Support in supplying product costing information to the business and working with internal PD and sourcing teams to engineer product to a target cost
• Collaborating cross-functionally with various departments to gather relevant data, ensure accuracy of financial information and drive alignment on financial objectives
• Assisting in the development and submission of financial forecasts and budgets
• Supporting Director of Finance & Strategy with meeting preparation and note taking
