Responsibilities:
YOUR NEW ROLE:
The Finance Analyst is responsible for delivering in-depth financial analysis and modelling, as well as monitoring budgets and forecasts to provide critical financial insights. Working closely with the Finance Business Partners, the role focuses on producing meaningful analysis that informs and supports strategic decision-making. Additionally, the Finance Analyst prepares high-quality financial management reports, presenting clear and actionable insights into organisational performance to support senior management in both strategic and operational decisions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare financial models and analysis to support business initiatives, including cost allocation, scenario planning, and sensitivity analysis.
- Support Finance Business Partners in delivering high-quality financial insights and actionable recommendations to inform strategic and operational decision-making.
- Consolidate and report on budgets and forecasts, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of key financial information to stakeholders.
- Prepare high-quality financial management reports for senior management and the Board, with clear commentary on key performance drivers.
- Contribute to budget submissions and provide input to the analysis of budget-related memoranda and funding proposals from Government.
- Undertake ad-hoc financial analysis and support strategic initiatives, ensuring flexibility and responsiveness to organisational needs.
