WHAT EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING?
- Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, ideally CA qualified or working towards qualification.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in finance roles, demonstrating expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, and strategic decision support.
- Proven ability to engage with senior stakeholders and deliver insights to Leadership and Board.
- Strong analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
- Prior experience with financial systems and tools; familiarity with IBM Planning Analytics and D365 is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.

Responsibilities:
As a Finance Analyst – Group Performance, you will play a pivotal role in providing valuable financial insights that influence key decisions and strategic initiatives. Collaborating with the Chapter Lead – Group Performance and Finance Business Partners, you’ll be responsible for contributing to monthly reporting to Leadership and Board, contributing to the development of Spark Group Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and supporting the preparation of external financial reports at year-end. This role offers a unique opportunity to impact the organisation’s performance while fostering growth in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.
Day to day you will be involved in:
- Contribute to the creation of the monthly CFO pack distributed to Spark’s Leadership Squad and Board.
- Play a crucial role in preparing the monthly Business Performance Review (BPR) pack for the Leadership Squad.
- Support the Quarterly Business Review process and development of Spark’s Group Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), collaborating with various teams to gather necessary information and contribute to the overall strategic planning of the business.
- Support the working capital process by collaborating with various business units to gather necessary inputs and drive actionable outcomes.
- Assist in preparing the external Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as part of the half-year and full-year financial reporting process, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align financial insights with business goals, strategy, and performance metrics.
