Endeavour demerged from Woolworths in 2021 and as part of the transition is taking the opportunity to transform how we operate as an independent business and establish supporting technology.
The Finance Analyst, Group Technology will partner with the Group Technology team and support the financial management, reporting, planning and analysis of technology platforms, services and projects. In addition, this role will provide analytical support for our broader Technology transformation activities as we establish common services and platforms across the Group.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of the Endeavour Group technology budget and work with Technology business partners to review, analyse and manage Technology spend.
  • Deliver the Group Technology month end process, including preparing monthly Group Technology management reports, and articulating key drivers of capex and opex spend.
  • Support business case preparation for Technology projects and associated commercial analysis.
  • Improve and manage Technology project spend tracking and reporting, including working closely with Technology project managers to manage project spend
  • Support the Finance Manager to find value and efficiency opportunities in the Technology cost base. This requires an understanding of the commercial drivers of our business and how the Technology services interact and support these.
  • Partner with technology leads and product owners to prepare a rolling forecast for Technology capital and operational expenditure
  • Manage the approach and process for cost recovery / recharging for Technology services across the Group.
  • Review the categorisation of expenditure to ensure the right allocation between capex and opex, including cyclical impairment reviews.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline, simplify and enhance core finance processes and reporting, including month end, budgeting and forecasting.
