JOB TITLE: Financial Analyst
LOCATION: Nigeria (Must be open to travelling to Lagos and Abuja occasionally)
TYPE OF EMPLOYMENT: Fully remote
SALARY BUDGET: ₦450,000 - ₦650,000 Gross
EXPERIENCE LENGTH: 3-5 years
Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Analyst to join our family office.
This role involves working across multiple sectors, including venture capital, real estate, agriculture, oil and gas, and financial services.
The Analyst will handle day-to-day accounting, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support budgeting and forecasting.
Key responsibilities include managing payments, payroll, account reconciliations, financial statements, and audits. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background, proficiency in accounting software, and the ability to provide clear, actionable financial insights.
Responsibilities
Financial Operations:
- Process bi-weekly payments and manage expense recording.
Lead payroll operations for multiple entities, liaising with external consultants.Prepare monthly expenditure reports, manage document storage, and compile quarterly reports.
Financial Analysis and Reporting:
Develop annual budgets and create cash flow statements as needed.Prepare comprehensive financial reports for portfolio companies.
Treasury and Investment Management:
Oversee treasury operations, including cash position maintenance and foreign exchange management.Assist in managing external investments and identifying new investment opportunities.
Strategic Development:
Work with partners to support the identification and development of new business lines.Support company restructuring initiatives and manage company setup/wind-down processes.
Asset Management:
Actively manage existing assets across the portfolio.Contribute to the sustained growth and value of the firm and portfolio companies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
- Strong foundation in financial analysis, asset management, and business development.
