We are seeking a Finance Analyst to join our dynamic Care, Communities and Corporate Services Finance Team, providing a first-rate business partnering service. This role will involve overseeing key financial processes such as month-end and year-end procedures, ensuring the timely production of accurate accounts, and supporting various finance-related activities.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in financial and management accounting.
- Experience in the year-end audit process and financial closedown.
- Strong Excel skills and knowledge of accounting software (Sun Systems desirable).
- Ability to present complex financial information clearly to non-finance staff.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate and timely financial information is produced on a monthly basis.
- Undertake the month-end and year-end processes.
- Assist with yearly budgeting and quarterly forecasting.
- Facilitate audit queries for relevant directorates.
- Provide support for ad hoc queries and guide stakeholders to relevant finance teams.
- Collaborate with finance colleagues to improve processes.
- Assist with yearly and interim audits.
- Support the Management Reporting team in delivering excellent service to stakeholders.
