- A relevant Finance Degree and be part way through or have completed CA/CPA (highly regarded)
- Previous experience as a Finance / Business Analyst in the Fashion retail industry (would be beneficial)
- Advanced Excel skills
- Proficient IT Platform user who can demonstrate implementation of IT efficiencies
- The ability to respond to and prioritise competing and often urgent requests in a calm and efficient manner while also maintaining high work standards and accuracy
- A sound understanding of accounting and financial principles
- Demonstrated understanding of Customer experience and ability to build productive relationships with both internal and external Customers
- Proven ability to plan, organise and deliver results on time in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills essential
- Proven ability to take initiative, solve problems and be resourceful
- Proven ability to thrive in a busy, hands-on environment and maintain a positive, can do attitude
- Excellent professional verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated working both independently & in a team environmen
Responsibilities:
- Finance Business Partner to a Commercial Sales regional business leader
- A leader in process improvement of financial and operational reporting across the business
- Preparing and distributing weekly reporting to the business
- Wage variation
- Productivity reporting
- Rotational involvement in the Daily and Weekly Operational Reporting
- Preparing and distributing monthly reporting to the business including:
- Sales and Wage targets
- Board Metrics reporting & key KPI’s
- Store Manager bonus reporting
- stocktake hours
- Upload monthly sales and weekly wages targets into BI reporting tool
- Month end responsibilities
- Participate in the monthly CODB analysis, partnering and providing insight and analysis
- Prepare monthly store sales, wages and admin expenses forecast to be reviewed by Retail Finance Lead
- Upload monthly sales into Lease Eagle
- Prepare and distribute monthly Store Contribution & MAT reporting to the business
- Maintain all store specific Smartview queries for month-end analysis & variance reporting
- Prepare and distribute quarterly Regional, State and Country Manager bonus reporting
- Prepare store set-up/pack-down hours in accordance with store roll-out schedule
- Prepare SALE set-up/pack-down hour models in accordance with Retail calendar
- Maintain base hours and trading hours worksheets
- Code store specific invoices and update registerAssisting in building reports and key Sales KPI dashboards
