Description:
Robert Half Finance & Accounting are exclusively partnering with a private equity backed Education provider based in central London. They seek a technical Finance analyst to join the business on a permanent basis.
This role is based in Mayfair - 5 days a week in the office.
Responsibilities:
- Financial reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements. Help with the consolidation of financial data from various departments. Collaborate with other teams and departments to exchange insights and data. Analyse financial data to identify trends and key performance indicators.
- Variance Analysis: Compare actual financial results to budgets and forecasts and help in investigating and explaining variance. Summarize and present findings in a clear and concise manner.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in development of annual budgets and financial forecasts. Collaborate with the operational teams within the schools to create and update budgets and financial forecasts. Enter financial data into spreadsheets/ software and assist in preparing financial presentations.
- Software proficiency: Familiarize yourself with financial planning and analysis software. Improve skills in data manipulation and reporting.
- Data Management and Organization: Maintain well-organized financial records and databases. Ensure data is easily accessible for analysis and reporting.
- Capital Expenditure Analysis: Track capital expenditure progress against budget/reforecast, and ensure deliverables are met on time.
- KPI tracking: Monitor and track financial and operational KPIs.
- Prepare ad hoc reports and analyses as requested.
