Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

In this role you will be responsible for monthly actuals reporting including journal preparation, variance analysis, and preparing business review packs for the HQ functions.

  • Attendance at functional meetings to help educate the teams on cost.
  • Preparing and populating budget/forecasting models using key inputs from various business contacts, challenging inputs, using HFM, and preparing business review packs with meaningful business commentaries for review with the HQ functional teams.
  • Key interface with some of our Logistics providers, ensuring that invoices and backing data are sent within a timely manner for month end reporting.
  • Managing and completing the recharge process for our Logistics spend, ensuring that costs are correctly allocated around the businesses, any errors are followed up and corrected, and reconciliations completed.
  • Implementation of process improvements and automation, writing and maintaining how to guides, controlling process failures, and ensuring all tasks are captured on a task list.
  • Special projects where required.

  • AAT qualified or equivalent or relevant finance degree
  • Knowledge of SAP and HFM advantageous.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Able to build effective working relationships with a diverse range of individuals and teams.
  • Experience in communicating to non-Finance personnel.
  • Experience working in an accounting role.
  • Customer focused, with a drive for process improvement
