About our Finance Analyst role:
Are you ready to play a pivotal role in driving strategic decisions and supporting leadership at Sage?
Join our Commercial Finance team as a Finance Analyst! In this role, you will prepare and deliver essential internal and group processes, including month-end reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
You will develop insightful analyses of financial and non-financial data for the Business Unit within the Global Product Organisation (GPO), ensuring all deliverables are accurate and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities include
- Collaborating with the Finance Business Partner (FBP) and GPO leadership team to develop accurate budgets and forecasts, ensuring stakeholder and system alignment. Deliver group tasks such as completing month-end close, understanding variances, and improving accuracy.
- Prepare, maintain, and distribute monthly and ad-hoc performance reports and analyses of financial and non-financial data to GPO leaders and Group Finance.
- Evaluate and develop insights on costs, revenue, and SaaS KPIs using various data sources to support FBP and leaders in driving commercial performance and understanding financial outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement in processes and tools for effective management and KPI reporting, enhancing the company’s ability to meet plans.
- Standardise and automate processes and analyses to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
