Finance and Admin Manager (Construction)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Manage and oversee the full spectrum of the Admin and Finance function, including:

• Preparation and closing of annual financial statements
• Cash flow management, including use of MML and TR financing
• A/R, A/P, G/L, account reconciliation, etc.
• Customer credit review and approval
• Coordinate with other departments on customer and supplier registration
• Intercompany transactions with related parties
• Liaise with external parties like bankers, lawyers, external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, local government authorities, etc.
• Ensure compliance to all legal/regulatory requirements for the company’s accounting practices, secretarial filings, tax filings, etc.
• Manage corporate taxation and GST include prepare and review tax and GST reports
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 4 years of finance experience, including 2 years of managerial experience. Prior experience in external audit, import/export documents, construction industry project claims is preferred
• Degree, preferably in Accounting, Business or Economics
• Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant preferred
• Able to converse in English and Mandarin, in order to communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Able to write in English, in order to communicate with internal and external stakeholders
• Willing to work in Tuas area
