Finance and Insurance Business Manager

Manawatu Toyota in Palmerston North is looking for a new Finance and Insurance Business Manager.
Whilst this is a Management position reporting directly to the CEO, it is also a customer facing and selling role with responsibility to meet deadlines and targets.
The role is busy, challenging and rewarding and will suit an individual who demonstrates initiative, and an ability to adapt and relate to customers from all age groups, budgets, ethnicities and backgrounds.
To succeed in this role you will need the right experience paired with a passion for customers and sales, as well as:
Exceptional customer service and people skills
The ability to build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with our customers and our team
Solid experience in an area of finance, insurance or similar with the ability to adapt, lead and drive into the future
Strong computer and documentation skills with exceptional attention to detail
A positive, “Yes! Can do!” and performance driven attitude, thriving on over achieving goals and targets
Be self-motivated with loads of energy and enthusiasm
Be able to follow management instructions and maintain up to date knowledge of and compliance with all relevant legal and company policies and procedures, representing us, Toyota Financial Services and Toyota New Zealand (TNZ).
What does the role involve?
Working closely with the New and Used Vehicle teams on a daily basis to maximise sales opportunities – our positive ‘one team’ ethos is crucial to maintain here.
You will also be communicating to and managing stakeholder relationships with Toyota Finance, Toyota Insurance and TNZ daily.
Presenting tailored finance and insurance packages and options together with aftermarket products (service plans, warranties etc.) to all of our customers.
Responsibility for monitoring and achieving budgets/targets set by Toyota Finance, Toyota Insurance and TNZ.
Responsibility for supporting and mentoring the other superstar F&I consultant in your team.
