JOB DESCRIPTION
Become an integral part of our Finance team! Each day will be unique – bring a positive attitude, entrepreneurial spirit and get ready to roll up your sleeves. This position is an essential part of the team and will have exposure to several aspects of running a banking office.
As a Finance and Office Manager in the J.P. Morgan Oslo Branch, you will be at the heart of our local operations, ensuring smooth office management and supporting the finance function both locally and as part of the Nordic team. Reporting to the Legal Entity Controller in Stockholm, you will play a vital role in maintaining our financial integrity and operational efficiency.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES, AND SKILLS:
- Suitable education in Finance or Economics
- Fluency in English and Norwegian
- Experience in reporting to local tax or financial regulators
- Proficiency in Excel
- Ability to manage multiple tasks within tight timeframes
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to deliverables
- Flexible and positive attitude for performing a variety of tasks.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly accounting entries and ensure accurate documentation control
- Produce and submit VAT returns
- Support local monthly and quarterly regulatory reporting
- Perform cross-regional backup within the Nordic team
- Collaborate on projects across the Nordics
- Process invoices and manage accounts payable
- Oversee general administration and facilities management
- Interface directly with local service providers
- Act as the local contact for internal IT support
- Organize minor repairs and maintain office supplies and equipment
