Responsibilities:

As a Finance Assistant at Assistantly, you’ll support our clients by managing their financial records, ensuring accuracy, and helping them stay on top of their finances. We are looking for experienced bookkeepers and finance professionals who excel in organization, financial management, and data accuracy.   • Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and reconciliation of accounts.
  • Expense Tracking: Monitor and record all financial transactions, ensuring expenses are tracked and categorized correctly.
  • Invoice Management: Prepare, send, and follow up on invoices, ensuring timely payments and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Payroll Support: Assist in processing payroll, ensuring accuracy in employee compensation and compliance with regulations.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Budget Management: Assist with budget preparation, monitoring, and reporting, ensuring financial objectives are met.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all payments and collections are handled efficiently.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records and identify any discrepancies.
  • Tax Preparation Support: Assist in preparing documents and information required for tax filing and compliance.
  • Audit Assistance: Support internal and external audits by providing accurate financial data and documentation.
  • Data Entry & Management: Accurately enter and manage financial data in accounting software, maintaining up-to-date records.
  • Financial Analysis: Provide insights and analysis on financial performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
