Description:
The SGB is looking for a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a finance assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who possesses strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for financial management within an educational setting. This position is available from 01 October 2024.

REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum Matric Certificate and preferably a recognized finance qualification.
Proven experience in debtors’ management or a similar financial role, preferably within an educational institution.
Strong proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner.
Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining financial records and handling transactions.
Knowledge of the POPIA act.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Demonstrated ethical conduct and respect for confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information.
