Description:

A fantastic opportunity has arisen in the Finance Team for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual who is keen to develop and progress in a Finance role within the NHS.
The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting the day to day activities undertaken by the Finance Team.
You will have a wide range of skills; including communication, numeracy and computer literacy. In addition, you will be expected to possess good organisational skills, have an eye for detail and a flexible approach to work.

This is a full time post working 37.5 hours per week.

The post advertised is for a Finance Assistant role where you will be supported by experienced NHS Finance colleagues to build knowledge and skills around all areas of financial management and the NHS healthcare system. You will have the opportunity to:
Prepare, process and provide information and advice to assist the production of monthly management information and year end accounts.
Communicate with various stakeholders
To investigate financial queries and advise accordingly
Ensure work is completed in accordance with monthly finance timetables.
