Responsibilities:
ROLE OUTLINE
As a Finance Assistant in the Credit Control department , you will play a key role in supporting our credit control team with the management of debtor accounts, ensuring timely payments and minimising financial risk to the company. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, following up on outstanding invoices, and providing administrative support to the credit control function.
The role is based at our Brighton office.
RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Raising invoices, credit notes and issuing statement
- Dealing with multi-invoices for large clients with multiple divisions
- Understanding different client contracts and ensuring that clients are billed in accordance with the contract
- Liaise with other teams and account managers to ensure smooth workflow across all areas and to provide assistance where necessary
- Enter, reconcile and post cash receipts into the appropriate financial system daily
- Conduct research on-account payments received and contact customers accordingly, including suspense accounts
- Respond to questions and issues relating to Accountant Receivable
- Print daily invoices, monthly statements and ad hoc copy invoice requests
- Process customer billing respond to customer requests and update balances in the accounting system
