JOIN OUR TEAM IN RINGWOOD AS A FINANCE ASSISTANT!

Do you want to work for a business who are rapidly expanding, passionate about progression and reward their employees for their hard work and successes? We are looking for an Finance Assistant to join our team at our Ringwood office.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

You will focus on providing essential support to the Finance Team. This role ensures smooth day-to-day operations, and will report to the Financial Controller. Here is a flavour of what you’ll be doing day to day:

  • Assisting in managing all transactions mid-life, including reschedules and early terminations.
  • Checking and verifying New Business finance documentation raised by Sales colleagues.
  • Preparing and distributing of monthly remittances
  • Calculating settlements and terminations
  • Removing assets from Hire Purchase Investigation (HPI) once cleared funds are received, issuing clearances.
  • Registering assets on HPI
  • Preparing and processing monthly rentals
  • Maintaining and updating financial records in Sage
  • Supporting with the funding prepayments process
  • Helping manage arrears and follow up on overdue accounts
  • Maintaining the Greenmarch database, ensuring accuracy and completeness

Responsibilities:

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL HAVE:

  • Proven experience in a finance or operations support role
  • Understanding of financial principles and practices
  • Proficiency in financial software such as Sage and Microsoft Excel (desired)
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
