JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Finance Staff member to join our team. The successful candidate will support various financial processes including data analysis, budget management, financial reporting, and assisting with month-end and year-end closings. This position is ideal for individuals who are eager to develop their skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES FOR SUCCESS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in a finance, accounting, or related role.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
- Team player with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude
Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the preparation, analysis and presentation of various MI including annual budgeting process, variance analysis, revenue and profitability reporting. Analyse and provide commentary on results as required.
- Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Review expense transactions and ensure compliance with company policy.
- Conduct variance analysis of actual vs. budget and provide relevant insights.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Maintain financial systems and contribute to process improvements as well as developing new and improved ways in how we operate and report performance.
- Build a good working relationship with key stakeholders to ensure effective flow of information and communication.
- Demonstrated ability to juggle conflicting demands, prioritise effectively whilst delivering to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
