Description:
EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS/TRAINING:
- A Levels or equivalent
- Part qualified or a desire to study for a recognised accounting qualification
- Experience working in a Finance Assistant / Administration role
- There is an option to complete further study via an apprenticeship for any candidates seeking further qualifications.
SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE:
- Good IT skills and a desire to develop these further (Microsoft Office & Accounting software)
ABILITIES/SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:
- Proactive, motivated, organised, responsible and able to work independently as well as in a team
- Excellent attention to detail with a right-first-time attitude
- Confident personality with excellent communication skills
- Ability to learn quickly and develop in the role
- General understanding of business and accounting functions
- Be an ambassador for the Club presenting the Club in a positive image at all times.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- This is a Full Time Role
- There is an option to complete further study for any candidates seeking qualification or further knowledge.
- This is a 24 month fixed term contract

Responsibilities:
- Manage the automated accounts payable system (Stampli), including purchase order matching, coding, and invoice approval.
- Review and process purchase and sales orders efficiently and accurately.
- Process all staff expense claims in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Reconcile and process corporate credit card expenditures, maintaining accurate records.
- Assist with the group bank reconciliation process to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Manage group debtors and creditors, monitoring and chasing outstanding payments as necessary.
- Support audit and financial reporting requirements, providing necessary documentation and assistance as needed.
- Manage finance and payroll inboxes in Outlook, responding to queries and requests promptly.
- Perform ad hoc tasks as required by the finance team or wider business, demonstrating flexibility and initiative.
