HOW YOU WILL ENERGIZE OUR TEAM.

We are seeking a Finance Assistant to join our growing Finance Department. This role will work alongside the existing Finance Assistants and Management Accountant. We are looking for someone who is keen to develop their current experience and grow within the function. The successful candidate will support the Financial Controller with a range of accounting duties including:

Your day-to-day responsibilities:

  • Entering accounts payable invoices onto finance system for approval
  • Performing daily processes for recording customer payment transactions
  • Posting payments and receipts onto finance system
  • Company bank account and supplier statement reconciliations
  • Posting general ledger journals
  • Processing customer refunds & Interpreting customer accounts on the Billing system
  • Monitoring the accounts payable inbox, responding to queries, categorising emails for processing
  • Assisting colleagues from other teams with customer payment and billing queries
  • Expense claim processing
  • Assisting with month end processes, fixed assets and journals
  • Involvement with financial audits

THE SPARK WE’RE LOOKING FOR.

  • Math’s and English GCSE’s
  • Previous experience working in a finance based, transactional role
  • Previous use of finance systems eg, Sage, Xero etc
  • Self-starter with the ability to work on their own or as part of a team
  • Right to work in the UK
