They have been seeking a talented and motivated FPA Associate to join our team. Job Summary: The FPA Associate will play a critical role in supporting the financial planning, forecasting, and analysis functions for the company. The ideal candidate will have strong financial modeling skills, experience in the investment industry, and a proven track record of working with cross-functional teams. This individual will be responsible for analyzing financial data, developing models, and providing actionable insights to support key business decisions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; CFA or CPA designation preferred.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in FPA, financial analysis, or corporate finance, with some exposure to the investment industry (e.g., private equity, asset management, investment banking).
- Advanced financial modeling skills, including proficiency in Excel for building complex models, sensitivity analysis, and scenario planning.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into insights and actionable recommendations.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of accuracy.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive mindset.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance complex financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes.
- Analyze financial and operational data to provide insights into business performance, key trends, and growth opportunities.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis and executive-level presentations.
- Support the annual budgeting process and long-term financial planning by collaborating with various departments to gather inputs and assumptions.
- Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to support investment evaluations, strategic projects, and decision-making.
- Partner with business leaders to understand financial drivers, optimize performance, and improve profitability.
- Support due diligence and financial analysis related to mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives.
- Continuously improve financial models and processes to drive efficiencies and enhance accuracy.
