Description:
INTRODUCTION
Within Finance Business Advice (FBA) we are looking for a financial advisor to strengthen our Business Banking team. The team is perfectly situated to financially navigate the business through a rapidly changing banking environment with rising interest rates, high inflation and a challenging economic environment. We are looking for someone that takes ownership and makes it happen, that has an enthusiasm for helping others to be successful and a capability for always being a step ahead. In return we offer personal growth & challenging work, an open and dynamic environment and a progressive and forward-looking mentality.
Responsibilities:
ROLE & WORK ENVIRONMENT
Within Finance Business Advice, the Business Banking team is the cornerstone for financial insights and advice for the Business Banking organization. This segment of ING Belgium provides a wide range of financial services to support our Business clients from Large Mid-Corporates to SME and Self-employed entrepreneurs, which range from daily banking solutions to more sophisticated products like Business loans, Leasing, Trade finance and Working Capital solutions. From finance business advice, you will be the pro-active partner empowering the teams with valuable information and advice on both strategic and day-to-day themes, like for example financially navigating our business colleagues through the current changing interest rate environment and what the impact of structural high inflation will be on the business performance as well as follow up on financial performance indicators for our sales organization in 4 regions.
You will join a dynamic and enthusiastic team that provides regular reporting and advice to senior management, while also maintaining relationships with various other internal stakeholders. Your role will be to actively engage with the respective products- and segment leads on what the business environment means financially and how they can act accordingly. You will be their financial compass! This will put you in the driving seat for the forecasting process and for providing ad-hoc support, sometimes on business cases for new or existing products and sometimes more related to developing new reporting standards.
Together we will foster a way of working driven by our values with “our data is always right” at the core. We take ownership, we have the expertise, we communicate clearly and easily, and we challenge and advise.
PLAY AN ACTIVE ROLE IN THE FBA DEPARTMENT
- Work on overarching projects which cover the full bank (e.g., cost allocation)
- Actively work and think along in the team to look for possible efficiencies in our processes and to improve business relevant insights
A clear purpose, a unique offer and a challenging environment:
- Personal growth & challenging work with endless opportunities to realise your ambitions
- An informal, dynamic environment with innovative colleagues supporting your endeavours
- A progressive way of working, where new ideas are valued ahead of convention
- A hybrid way of working, which allows you to work 50% from home
