JOB SUMMARY
In this role as Financial Business Analyst, you get to act as finance support for global Marine OEM commercial team in terms of financial analysis, forecasting, reporting, preparation and monitoring of main financial KPIs. You will be providing on-site support for cross-functional teams to drive decision making and help achieving strategic objectives of business. You will report to the Plant Controller based in Tampere.
Your daily responsibilities will include for example:
- Day to day finance support of global cross-functional teams
- Provide financial analysis and interpretation of financial KPIs
- Serve as point of contact for any finance related matters
- Support financial process of reporting, forecasting and budgeting
- Support business with financial insights, recommendations for improvement
- Help preparing long term strategic plans
- Monitoring of profitability and NWC
KEY COMPETENCIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
To be successful in this role, you would need to have independent and flexible working style with ownership mentality. You will benefit of analytical mindset with ability to interpret and present financial results. You should also have a genuine interest and understanding of business trends and strategic planning. Our global working environment requires strong collaboration and communication skills in English, both verbally and in written contexts.
Other Qualifications:
- Education: Master’s degree in Finance or Economics
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of previous experience in similar roles preferably within manufacturing industry.
- Language: Strong written and spoken English. Finnish language is considered as advantage but not mandatory.
- IT tools: Knowledge of ERP (SAP, Oracle) is considered as an advantage, excellent knowledge of MS tools (Excel specifically)
