In this role, you will be an integral part of our Global Supply Chain & Strategy (GSC&S) Finance team. You will support the Biologics therapy area by collaborating with various global partners and customers within the Operations SET area, including Biologics, Global Supply Chain, External Supply & Manufacturing, and Procurement. Reporting directly to the Global Head of GSC&S Finance, you will lead a team of two direct reports.

Your Impact

  • Optimize Operations P&L, Inventory, and Capital: Drive in-year performance to achieve financial goals.
  • Support Strategic Decision-Making: Influence long-term cost of goods (COGS), major contractual negotiations, siting decisions for new products, and other strategic supply chain decisions.
  • Financial Advisor and Trusted Partner: Provide insights and advice to Global Supply Chain and Operations business leaders.
  • Key Member of the Brand Global Supply Team: Ensure alignment across supply chain, functional finance, and global finance services to drive effective P&L and inventory management.
  • Deliver High-Quality Business Cases: Offer financial and commercial insights to support decision-making, challenge key forecasting assumptions, and articulate key risks and sensitivities.
  • Role Model in Business Partnering: Showcase high-quality leadership and coaching capabilities within the broader operations finance team and AZ finance organizations.

CRUCIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Validated experience in business partnering and customer management with senior-level collaborators.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and the ability to leverage various influencing techniques.
  • High-quality financial evaluation, modeling skills, and business case delivery.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Adaptability to connect with the changing needs of the business and forward-thinking in solution development.
  • Extensive knowledge of global and corporate business environments, enabling effective collaboration with multiple stakeholders globally.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, volatile environment, multitasking, and prioritizing work/projects.
  • Qualified Finance Professional.

DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS

  • Familiarity with AZ financial and supply chain systems and processes.
  • Experience in manufacturing finance/inventory accounting.
  • Background in working within a global pharmaceutical organization.
  • Expertise in supply chain and manufacturing finance.
