Description:

Join our Finance Team based in Bristol as a Finance Business Partner and help us to achieve our mission of pioneering electric aviation.
Our Business Partnering team collaborate and influence key stakeholders throughout the business. We’ll need you to provide critical insights, analysis, and support to aid decision making and business performance as we continue to scale our trailblazing organisation within the burgeoning and utterly novel electric aviation industry.
Within this role you’ll act as a key, trusted advisor to the management teams across our Manufacturing, Operations, and Enablement functions. You partner closely to create accurate and robust financial plans, providing continuous collaboration and support to deliver on-going accurate financial tracking.

What success will look like for you, as a Finance Business Partner?

  • You’ll curate strong relationships with senior management and operational teams to understand their business unit and provide relevant financial insights.
  • Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, and support the business in developing multi-year financial plans.
  • Take ownership of key month end processes including management of accruals and preparing variance analysis commentary for finance leadership team and manage monthly cost-centre reviews.
  • You’ll use your expereince to analyse key financial and operational metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Prepare and present business cases and financial models to support strategic projects and investment decisions.
  • It’s important to drive a culture of cost control and efficiency across the business.

What would we like you to bring?

  • You’ll be a fully qualified accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • You’ll bring exceptional analytical skills and experience in using data to influence decisions.
  • We need you to be proficient in financial modelling, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Bring excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders clearly.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with finance systems (e.g., SAP, INFOR etc)
