JOB DESCRIPTION

We are excited to be seeking an experienced and collaborative Senior Executive Officer (SEO) to join DESNZ Finance Directorate to deliver an insightful Professionalism function. This is a new role based within the friendly and industrious Efficiency, Controls and Finance Change team. This role will be pivotal in driving forward our change activity and ensuring the highest standards of financial professionalism across the department.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

We would love to hear from creative finance professionals with the following essential attributes. Please ensure your application sets out how you meet these essential requirements:

• Fully or part-qualified CCAB.
• Strong understanding of financial processes, systems, and best practices.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Change and Project/Programme management skills.

Desirable attributes:

• Previous experience of a professionalism role, such as facilitating training and development or supporting others to improve the quality of their outputs.
• Change or Project/Programme management qualifications
• Experience of developing Learning and Development needs assessments/plans

QUALIFICATIONS

Full or Part Accountant Qualification - CCAB
