Collins Aerospace est à la recherche d’un contrôleur financier pour son usine de fabrication situé à Mirabel, au Québec. Ce rôle comprend la conformité financière, la gestion de la clôture comptable et la supervision des processus de budget et de prévision.
C’est un poste idéal pour quelqu’un ayant un fort état d’esprit d’amélioration continue et la capacité de bien collaborer entre différentes fonctions tout en travaillant de manière indépendante.

QUALIFICATIONS DE BASE

• Diplôme universitaire avec un minimum de 8 ans d’expérience pertinente, ou un diplôme supérieur avec au moins 5 ans d’expérience. Alternativement, 12 ans d’expérience pertinente en l’absence de diplôme.
• Expérience avec les ERP

Qualifications préférées

• Expérience avec les systèmes SAP
• Maîtrise de la suite MS Office, y compris Excel et PowerPoint
• Solides compétences en leadership, capacité d’adaptation et d’autonomie pour obtenir des résultats dans un environnement de travail au rythme rapide.
• Expérience en planification financière manufacturière
• Familiarité avec les méthodologies d’amélioration continue comme le Lean ou le CORE

Ce poste nécessite de communiquer oralement et par écrit avec les équipes et les clients situés aux États-Unis. À la suite d’une analyse, nous avons déterminé que les tâches liées à ce poste nécessitent une connaissance de l’anglais (oral et écrit). Nous avons également déterminé que la connaissance de l’anglais déjà exigée des autres employés ne permet pas l’exécution des tâches dues à sa nature hautement technique. Cependant, Collins Aerospace limite autant que possible le nombre de postes pour lesquels il exige la connaissance d’une langue autre que le français. Collins Aerospace n’a besoin que de la maîtrise de l’anglais lorsque cela est nécessaire pour s’acquitter des tâches d’un employé.

Collins Aerospace has an exciting opportunity for a Financial Controller at their Mirabel, Quebec manufacturing site. This role includes ensuring financial compliance, managing accounting close, and overseeing budget and forecasting processes.
This will be a perfect fit for someone with a strong continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to collaborate well across different functions while also working independently.
This is an On-site role at our location in Mirabel city- Quebec

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• University Degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with at least 5 years of experience. Alternatively, 12 years of relevant experience in the absence of a degree.
• Experience in ERP system

SKILLS WE VALUE

• Experience in SAP systems
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong leadership skills, adaptability, and self-direction to drive results in a fast-paced work environment
• Experience in manufacturing financial planning
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies like Lean or CORE
  This position requires communicating orally and in writing with teams and customers located in the United States. Following an analysis, we have determined that the tasks related to the position of Financial Controller require knowledge of English (verbal and written). We have also determined that the knowledge of English already required of other employees does not allow the performance of the tasks due to its highly technical nature. However, Collins Aerospace restricts as much as possible the number of positions for which it requires knowledge of a language other than French. Collins Aerospace only requires proficiency in English when necessary to perform an employee’s job duties.

• Oversee the accounting close process, creating journal entries and reconciling accounts
• Prepare and analyze actuals, forecasts and annual business plans
• Present monthly financial reviews with senior leadership to explain variances and predict outcomes
• Assist operations in key performance metrics, such as hours per part, utilization, and over-time
• Ensure adherence to financial controls and compliance at the site
• Manage Archer Control Self Assessments and financial audits
• Partner with senior leadership to support financial strategy by building financial models and providing recommendations
• Lead process and system improvements through Continuous Improvement activities or events
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support Value Stream Leader and Operations Leaders as needed
