Job Description: Finance Data Analyst
Finance & Accounting Services Team
How does this role contribute to our collective success?
- As a Finance Data Analyst within the Finance & Accounting Services Team, responsibilities will include supporting and maintaining the integrity of finance data systems and reporting frameworks, assuring the integrity and precision of data and optimising existing processes through integration of new AI technologies.
- The role is part of a team critical for ensuring the integrity of data feeds into the finance ledger and reporting processes, offering opportunities to develop experience with multiple systems and to collaborate with both local and global teams.

What will you do in this role?
- Data Quality Monitoring: Help monitor and research data quality issues related to Finance data management, and work with stakeholders to resolve these issues.
- Process Optimization: Contribute to optimizing processes, reconciliations, and control frameworks used by the team.
- Data Extraction: Assist in designing and maintaining processes and tools to efficiently extract large volumes of data.
- Requirement and Test Plan Support: Aid in defining finance data requirements and test plans for enhancements and new business initiatives by collaborating with IT, Operations, and other Finance teams.
- Data Control Support: Assist in executing and implementing data control frameworks through data mapping, matching, and handling data imports and exports for analysis and comparison.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Participate in cross-functional processes and special projects to support business initiatives.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Provide walkthroughs and support to stakeholders and project teams as needed, and offer assistance during end-user testing.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:
- Recent graduate with a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, with a keen interest in learning about insurance accounting.
- Familiarity with SOX compliance requirements and a willingness to deepen this knowledge.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Basic knowledge of SQL and an eagerness to develop skills in business intelligence software such as Power BI.
