We are searching for a:
The Finance Data Analyst who supports the Solutions Design Manager in delivering improvements from a
process and compliance perspective supporting the business requirements in Ricoh Finance which includes
accounting, reporting, reconciliations, payment and invoicing. This includes understanding the finance operations, providing technical accounting insights and support to identify opportunities for process improvement and participating in projects to drive efficiency and process improvement. The Finance Process Consultant, will also assist in capture system requirements, designing and implementation of system changes to support process improvements, providing analysis of options and implications to support key decisions and recommendations to executive management on the current and future business processes and policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Solutions Design Manager to drive harmonisation and standardisation of processes across

EMEA in the context of Project OSCAR.

  • Support continuous evolution of new Ricoh business offerings through finance solution and process adaptions.
  • Support implementation of process or application changes.
  • Utilises process and functional expertise and knowledge to undertake gap reviews, process reviews, data

conversion and cleansing as appropriate to the projects allocated.

  • With the highest attention to detail, supports testing and implements process or application changes.
  • Promotes knowledge transfer to and across the Ricoh businesses and monitors their progression.
  • In cooperation with other teams such as Share Service Centres, IT Development and Application Support,

actively contributes with expert knowledge and testing skills to ensure the quality assurance of the

deployed solution.

  • Interprets business requirements into solution designs to promote process efficiency, cost reduction or

potential revenue generation to support financial benefit to Ricoh EMEA.

  • Supporting key financial process areas such as general accounting, Local GAAP accounting, accounts

payable and receivable, fixed assets, leasing, bank and cash processing, reconciliations including holding,

suspense, balance sheet accounts.

  • Proactively communicate and collaborate to analyse information and business requirements to help design and shape solutions.

To be successful in this role, you need to have knowledge of processes. Knowledge of Power BI and Oracle is crucial for this role. Project management skills are useful, as is an awareness of financial controlling. We are looking for a person very good at communicating who speaks English fluently. Due to the seniority level of this role we are looking for someone who will be able to work independently and collaborate with other departments.
