• As the Finance Director – Financial Control, you will be responsible for regulatory reporting, financial reporting, technical accounting, tax, accounts payable, risk and controls, systems, transformation and operational aspects of Metro Bank’s Finance function
• Ensure that the timely and accurate financial information is provided to internal and external stakeholders (including but not limited to Exco, Board, Markets and Regulators)
• Drive process improvement through redesign and automation
• Continued improvement of the regulatory reporting, financial reporting, tax, and financial systems aspects of the Finance function, including operating model, processes and systems
• Provide technical counsel and support to the wider finance team
• Advise on prudential regulatory requirements
• Chair and present at relevant committees
